Yesterday was World Ocean Day, so the entire Aromatech team traded the lab and the office for something a little different.
We headed out to Cocoa Beach on Florida’s Space Coast for a full beach cleanup day, and it was one of the most meaningful days I can remember since joining this team.
We set up camp at Lori Wilson Park, fully equipped with supplies, gloves, and everything we needed to cover a solid stretch of shoreline. From start to finish, it was a meaningful team effort, everyone showing up with energy and genuine care for the place.
This was made possible thanks to our partnership with Keep Brevard Beautiful Inc, an incredible organization dedicated to protecting Brevard County’s natural spaces. They provided the tools, the coordination, and the mission. We showed up ready to help.
I’ll be honest, this beach means something to me personally. I come out here on weekends. It’s one of those places that genuinely recharges you. Getting to give a little back to it, alongside people I work with every day, felt really special.
To the entire Aromatech team: thank you. Not just for the bags of trash we collected, but for showing up wholeheartedly. This is exactly the kind of company I’m proud to be part of.
And to Keep Brevard Beautiful, thank you for the work you do every single day to preserve these spaces for all of us.
