This morning, we swapped lab coats for teacher hats and stepped into the world of 4 to 11-year-olds at the Alliance Française of Greater Orlando, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting French language and culture.
We weren’t there to talk supply chain stress nor stability under UHT
We were there to teach them about flavor superpowers
And kids don’t lie.
They gave us their most honest opinions during all sorts of sensory activities, while we were answering to questions only they were brave enough to ask.
One of them even compared flavors to 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 because of how they bring back old memories
Although his was not our typical audience, they reminded me why I fell into this strange, brilliant world in the first place:
To make science feel like the magic it actually is.
Merci, Alliance Française, we’ll be back
